We currently have a career opening for a Manager Cybersecurity Platform Team.

Accountabilities in this role

The scope of this role is to build and lead a Platform Team as part of the Information Security organization at Cardinal Health. The ideal candidate will possess a strong information technology background related to supporting multiple stakeholders on security related shared platforms.

  • Coordinates with stakeholders, vendor, shared services teams, and information security teams to create and maintain road maps for various security centric platforms
  • Facilitates discussions among all platform stakeholders to foster shared understanding of supported platform vision
  • Partners with stakeholders, vendor, shared services teams, and information security teams to identify and launch new capabilities related to supported platforms.
  • Assists in managing demand, scheduling, and prioritization of activities across supported platforms
  • Prior team leadership experience
  • Maintains and communicates platform release plans that includes all new product features, technical enhancements, and bug and defect fixes
  • Responsible for establishing, maintaining, and carrying out a communication plan for platform activities. (releases, down time, issues, risks, resolutions, general news, etc.)
  • Works with enterprise support teams to establish procedures for escalating technical support issues to the platform support team
  • Works with stakeholders, shared services teams, and information security teams in establishing training and capturing feedback and requests.
  • Participates in security platform assessments providing risk-based gap analysis and prioritized road map recommendations
  • Manages platform R&M and licensing budget
  • Interacts with internal and/or external information security resources
  • Contributes to the creation of information security technology strategies and road maps
  • Contributes to the development of information security solution architectures that align with assessment remediation requirements, reference architectures, design patterns and technology standards

​​Qualifications

  • Advanced experience with information technology practices, latest technologies, programs and procedures
  • Information Security experience desirable
  • Experience deploying, build to run transitions, and supporting shared IT platforms
  • Strong understanding of IT domains and how solutions/applications are deployed.
  • Must be self-motivated, organized, self-confident and self-directing with a proven ability to identify priorities and mobilize initiatives in an orderly fashion to achieve desired results.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field, or equivalent work experience
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
