Inventory Specialist

We have a client in Dublin hiring for an experienced Inventory Specialist in their manufacturing facility! Temp to Hire

  • $15+/hr. on 1st Shift: 8am-430pm Monday-Friday (overtime after the shift if needed)

  • MUST HAVE prior inventory experience!!

  • MUST have good computer skills!!

Inventory Specialist Duties & Experience Required:

  • Lifting up to 50 lbs.

  • Standing on your feet throughout the entire shift

  • Counts material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies in stock and posts totals to inventory records.

  • Searches inventory records (MRP) or warehouse and meet with other associates to determine if material on hand is in sufficient quantity and discuss purchasing.

  • Writes or types relevant purchase orders and sends copy to supplier and department originating request and obtains proper authorization signatures, places orders.

  • Tracks opened purchase orders and persistently follows up with vendors for deliveries.

  • Compares inventories to office records or computes figures from records such as sales orders, production records, or purchase invoices to obtain current inventory.

  • Verifies clerical computations against physical count of stock and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.

  • Compiles information on receipt or disbursement of material, equipment, merchandise, or supplies, and computes inventory balance, price, and cost.

The essential functions of this role include:

  • wearing steel toe shoes

  • manual lifting up to 50lbs

  • standing for 8 hours at one time

  • working up to 8 hrs of overtime per week


  • Inventory (1 year of experience is required)

  • Microsoft Excel (1 year of experience is required)

  • Cycle Counting (1 year of experience is required)

  • Manufacturing Software (1 year of experience is required)


  • High School (required)
