IBM IBM Watson Health L2 Support Engineer in Dublin, Ireland

Your Role and Responsibilities

As part of the IBM Watson Health - Support team, you will be resolving issues across multiple products. You will be directly responsible for investigating and resolving customer issues through the Watson Health Salesforce tool.

Primary activities include issue diagnosis, troubleshooting, and incident management.

The engineer will use strong problem-solving skills, combined with excellent communication and customer focus, to maintain high levels of customer satisfaction. The role will require that you work very closely with Product Development (L3) Teams.

We require someone who will:

  • Bring strong customer service, focusing on attention to detail

  • Maintain a high level of technical and functional product knowledge, together with knowledge of the hardware and operating systems on which IBM Watson Health products run

  • Maintain a high level of day to day responsiveness

  • Constant updating of technical and functional skills and strong teamwork are essential to working in this dynamic environment.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and troubleshooting skills

  • Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw conclusions

  • Possess good multi-tasking skills with demonstrated ability to follow-through

  • Strong interpersonal/customer relations skills

  • Clear and concise verbal and written communications

  • Ability to express complex technical concepts in layman's terms, both verbally and in writing

  • Knowledge of web client development environments, application server and database server essential

Preferred Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Experience with IBM Cloud and/or other Cloud environments

  • Experience in Database skills (e.g. DB2, Oracle, MySQ)

  • Experience of web client development environments and application server (e.g. WebSphere, WebLogic)
