This National Guard position is for a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (Title 32), Position Description Number D0668000 and is part of the located in the G4, with the Utah Army National Guard. Major Duties: This is not an all-inclusive list As a SUPERVISORY SUPPLY TECHNICIAN (Title 32), GS-2005-9, you will: *Supervises a group of subordinates (usually three or more) in performing supply work.
*Plans, assigns, directs and reviews the work of subordinates.
*Responsible for the property book operations of the organization in the areas of inventory management, storage management, equipment coordination and supply management.
*Ensures the property book sections periodically perform asset visibility rebuild to validate data in the asset visibility files.
*Maintains property book accountability utilizing an automated system and related computer programs to account for property.
*Establishes hand receipt files for each unit, whether separate or organic to battalions of the brigade, and maintains accountability by the use of hand receipt listings.
*Schedules and directs the conduct of periodic inspections, inventories and change of hand receipt accounts to assure supplies are serviceable, properly stored, maintained and accounted for as required by competent authority.
*Establishes quality edit procedures and oversees the edit of all documents.
*Review and analyze listings and reports produced by the automated system,resolves problems on error listings, and provides guidance to personnel assigned to the Property Book Office.
*Coordinates with the USP&FO and subordinate units of the brigade on the lateral transfer and/or turn in of excess property.

MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an excepted service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership. Military Rank: Warrant Officer/Enlisted Compatible Military Assignments: WO: BR 92. ENL: CMF 88, 91, 92. For positions requiring the operation of motor vehicles, candidates must have a valid state driver's license. Participation in direct deposit is mandatory. Medical screening will be completed upon selection for hire. Soldiers who accept a technician position will be terminated from the Bonus and Student Loan Repayment Program (SLRP). Indefinite positions may be converted to permanent status without further competition. National Guard Membership is required. Males born after 31 December 1959 must be registered for Selective Service. May be required to successfully complete a probationary period. Must be able to obtain and maintain the appropriate security clearance of the position. This position is covered by the Domestic Violence Misdemeanor Amendment (30 Sep 96) of the Gun Control Act (Lautenberg Amendment) of 1968. An individual convicted of a qualifying crime of domestic violence may not perform the duties of this position. GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Experience, education, or training in a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered. Experience using computer and automation systems. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Do you have 24 months of specialized experience, education, or training dealing with cost estimates, budgets or funding management. Experience conducting extensive searches for required information; reconstruct records for complex supply transactions; and/or provide supply operations support. Experience supervising others.
