This position is located in the Pension Benefit Guaranty Corporation's (PBGC), Business Innovation Services Department (BISD), Program Management Innovation Division (PMID). More than one selection may be made from this vacancy announcement.
Plan, organize, direct and control the development, modernization or enhancement of complex business or general support systems.
Assess, monitor, and mitigate project risks, analyze issues and problems and recommend solutions, manage changes, and ensure the quality of deliverables.
Assist customers in defining project scope, requirements and deliverables, and is responsible for planning project activities, tasks, milestones, budget, resources and performance measures.
Responsible for communications regarding the project, including developing and executing communication plans and presenting formal and informal briefings to technical, non-technical, and senior leadership.

You may start at GS-13 at $103,690.00, if you meet the following minimum qualification requirements:
Time-In-Grade Requirement: In order to be eligible for this position, all current Federal employees must provide proof of meeting the time-in-grade requirement (i.e., at least 52 weeks of experience at the next lower grade level in the Federal service). This information must be in both your resume and on an SF-50. Those who do not provide proof of having met the time-in-grade requirement will be deemed ineligible for this position.
Specialized Experience- Applicant must have at least one year of experience at the GS-12 grade level in the Federal service or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level in the private sector which demonstrates Information Technology (IT) Project Management experience implementing IT Business Systems (e.g., Financial Management Systems, Customer Relationship Management Systems); external/public-facing online web applications; or Azure/MS Dynamics cloud based business solutions. Examples do not include telecommunications and network infrastructure. Your qualifications will be evaluated on the following knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSAs): 1.skill in overseeing milestones of projects and ensuring that deliverables are met using project management and systems development disciplines
2.skill in monitoring and evaluating project risks and issues and recommending solutions
3.skill in planning and managing IT project schedules and IT system deliveries
4.skill in communicating in writing conveying ideas and concepts, rationale and providing recommendations to technical issues
