div div div font class="bold"Personal Lines Risk Solutions Consultant/font div span class="job-location"Detroit Metropolitan Area, MI, USA * Detroit, MI, USA/span span class="job-req-number"Req #13741/span /div div Thursday, February 18, 2021 /div div /div div Our Risk Solutions department is seeking a Personal Lines Risk Solutions Consultant to join our growing team in the Detroit, MIarea.brPosition summary: The Personal Lines Risk Solutions Consultant provides risk solutions support to Hanover's Personal Lines division for Prestige clients.brThis is a Full-time, Exempt role.brResponsibilities/Essential Functions:br* Perform on-site policy holder home inspections and corresponding written reports to evaluate risk and recommend services and solutions to mitigate risk.* Consult with policy holders on risk management services such as proactive home maintenance, disaster preparedness, security, and loss mitigation aids.* Identify cross sell opportunities for additional coverages such as Marine and Auto.* Participate in innovation pilots with the Personal Lines Product team.* Support risk management content generation by Personal Lines Marketing team.Collaboration Communication:* Strong interpersonal skills and ability to interact with policyholders and agents* Collaboration with Underwriting, Risk solutions home office technical and field teams, PL Product, PL Claim and PL Marketing* Participate in association and industry relations activities including attending meetings and conferences representing company.brPosition Requirements:br* At least 2 years Risk Solutions/Loss Control field experience with a personal lines national/regional insurance carrier.* Motivated self-starter with demonstrated initiative; ability to work independently.* Building construction, homeowner and marine insurance coverages, underwriting and claims.* Superior analytical problem-solving skills.* Aptitude for numerical and/or financial evaluation of business performance.* Ability to work in a dynamic environment on multiple projects, tasks or assignments.* Results orientation.* Superior communication skills, both oral written.* Motivated self-starter with demonstrated initiative; ability to work independently with minimal direction.brPhysical Demands and Work Environment:br* Ability to use a personal computer and other standard office equipment* Ability to work in a fast paced environment* Ability to sit and/or stand for extended periods* Full time position requiring flexibility in working hours to accommodate homeowner schedules.brbrbr /div div bspanEEO statement:br/span/bspan /spanspan"The Hanover values diversity in the workplace and among our customers.
