Business Relationship Manager
The Business Relationship Manager role is designed to bring value to our organization by collaborating and coordinating amongst different business functions and IT, sharing ownership for both business strategy and business value results between the Sales & Account Management and IT organizations.
A BRM’s primary objective is to break down the silos separating business functions to optimize understanding of business needs and jointly determine strategic direction for and execute on the mechanics of submission and completion of CRM, CPQ, and Business Intelligence platform change requests and development.
Translate business needs into detailed requirements for CRM, CPQ, Spotfire/ EDW and other systems enhancements and projects.
Provide business advice and consultancy to Sales System end users in an effective manner.
Engage with IT to ensure successful development and implementation of requested CRM changes, including User Acceptance Testing and Sales/AM communication and Training
Miscellaneous support as requested from Sales & Account Management, Sales Ops leaders or Marketing leaders (cases, emails, data analysis, etc.)
Facilitate the intake from business users to IT for CRM requests for enhancements and development.
Initiate and develop relationships with various CRM, CPQ, and Spotfire/EDW user groups for business growth.
Stay abreast of recent industry trends within the Healthcare platform and how to keep up with them in the CRM, CPQ, and various Business Intelligence tools.
Translate business needs into detailed requirements for CRM, CPQ, and Spotfire/EDW enhancements and projects.
Facilitate the intake from business users to IT for CRM, CPQ, and Spotfire/EDW requests for enhancements and development.
Address constituent issues/concerns in an accurate and timely manner.
Work closely with Sales Enablement, Marketing, Legal, Sales, Sales Operations, etc. to understand the business needs and to explore opportunities for enabling growth of the business using the CRMs and other business intelligence tools.
Provide business advice and consultancy to CRM, CPQ, and Spotfire/EDW in an effective manner.
Independently manage and prioritize multiple high priority projects.
Preparation of projects and other enhancements requests for review by the Salesforce Framework Governance Committee.
Engage with IT to ensure successful development and implementation of requested CRM, CPQ and Spotfire/EDW changes.
Coordination and development of user training and communications with end users in the Sales and Account Management organizations.
Ability to troubleshoot process and access issues within Salesforce.com.
Interactively work support cases with Sales Operations Leads and the Account Management organization.
MINIMUM JOB Qualifications
Education / Training:
- BA/BS in Finance, Business, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience preferred
5+ years of experience in sales support, sales administration, sales finance or sales operations, sales, or account management
5+ years of experience facilitating the development and implementation of business initiatives and projects, based on management objectives
5+ years of experience with using and/or administering CRM software, preferably Salesforce.com
Specialized Knowledge / Skills:
Solid understanding of company-wide processes and capabilities and ability to identify areas of improvement
Strong, modernized computer-oriented work capabilities, detail-oriented analytical instincts and required presentation skills in any size audience with an emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite of tools (Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Salesforce.com CRM solutions.
Exceptional ability to lead change using positive and collaborative methods
Ability to map joint organizational vision and long-term thinking, imagination, and idea generation
Lean Six Sigma Certification preferred
Proficient in JIRA, Confluence or other agile management software
Sense of urgency with ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple high priorities
Highly developed and effective written and verbal communication skills at all levels with ability to listen, build rapport, and credibility
Highly skilled and experienced at negotiating conflict with diplomacy and problem-solving to achieve win-win outcomes with a broad constituency, including executives
Ability to set expectations with business partners and effectively leverage governance for a positive business partner experience
Ability to influence others and break down silos within our organization using personal rather than positional power
Technical aptitude, requirements management, and the ability to assess and articulate risk
Credibility with the business community and track record of delivering results which yield business value
Acumen in business and function disciplines, including setting and meeting project deadlines
Ability to understand and integrate business strategies and trends in technology to deliver value
Environment – Office environment, up to 10% travel required.
Physical Requirements – Sitting, standing, walking, and using keyboard.

The base pay range for Colorado residents is $70,585.00 - $130,095.00 plus any relevant incentive pay programs that may be aligned to the role.
