(1) Strong commercialcontracting skills, including contract negotiation, and risk management;(2) Strong understanding of the full sourcing process, includingstrategy and planning, RFP, evaluations, contracting, and contractadministration; (3) Excellent and demonstrated written and verbalcommunication skills, including writing formal correspondence and preparingandWhat are some things that would stand out from candidates. Experience withconstruction and engineering contracts. Utility or energy experience. SAPexperience. Ariba experience. MS Office skills. MBA or JD.Team culture - Fast pace and positive environment. Will need a self-starterwith ability to work independently at times.What does a typical day look like? Partnering with our BUs do developRFPs, vendor negotiations, partnering with our projects during executionphase to provide commercial advice. System use with SAP and Ariba.Understands and documents business requirements.Identifies and vets potential vendors. Negotiates price and contract terms forservices, materials, equipment, and/or supplies from vendors.Formalize agreements according to company policy.Monitors vendor compliance with contract terms and product or servicespecifications.Identifies and realizes opportunities for cost reduction.Participates in internal control processes.Sourcing and contracting activities for complex construction projects.Manage sourcing process, including RFPs.Manage contracting process, including negotiation.Manage post-contract commercial contract administration.Requires strong commercial sourcing and contracting skills, greatcommunication skills (written and verbal).Benefits:For information and details on employment benefits offered, visit here.
