Within the AWSSales organization, the Specialist Sales Operations Support team isresponsible for supporting Leadership, Sales, and Operational teams inachieving organizational objectives and driving continuous improvements infield productivity. We drive effectiveness, predictability, and deliver a"run the business" cadence that allows for the field to serve customers inthe way customers want to be served.AWS Sales is seeking a Sales Operations Specialist to support WorldwideCommercial Specialist Sales, Business Development, and SolutionArchitecture teams. This includes partnering with Sales Operations Managers toimplement and manage business processes, systems, tools, analysis, andreporting that optimize business functions to meet organizational goals andinitiatives. One of your primary stakeholders will be our Specialist Salesteams. You will provide valuable business insights for these sales reps andmanagers into their accounts, territories, and revenue, which willoptimize their productivity and enable them to better serve our externalcustomers. The Sales Operations Specialist plays a critical role inestablishing operational excellence and making important business decisionsfor the organization.Role and Responsibilities:* Create and manage mechanisms to optimize core sales operations functions,such as goals/ KPI reporting, variable compensation, revenue flow, andexecutive escalations and approvals.** Become subject matter expert on revenue, pipeline, compensation, andother key metrics used to run the business. Including looking forcommonalities across our stakeholders' business needs, building scalablemechanisms, and leveraging automation to grow our capacity in line with thegrowth of the business.** Ensure that systems and processes enable the introduction of new products.** Advocate for our sales reps and managers with our cross-functionalstakeholders and peer operations organizations.** Support Sales Operations Managers to drive improvements to reportingtools, methods, and processes utilized by the team to increase theavailability and granularity of actionable data.** Partner with other functions in AWS such as Data Warehouse/BusinessIntelligence, Business Development, Finance, Marketing, Recruiting,and Compensation** Drive simple, scalable solutions to difficult problems, and communicatecomplex analytical results, both written and verbally.This position is available in all US office locations, including but notlimited to Seattle, SF Bay Area, Irvine, Chicago, Austin, Denver,New York, Boston, Atlanta* Bachelor's degree* 2+ years experience in Sales Operations or relevant field* Experience querying and analyzing dataAmazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
