RN Medical Records HEDIS, Denver Health Medical Plan (Job ID: 4921)Job SummaryUnder general supervision, work with DHMP HEDIS project manager as a memberof the medical record review team to complete HEDIS reviews in accordance withNCQA guidelines and technical specifications. Responsible for performingaccurate and comprehensive reviews of medical records using DHMP's medicalabstraction tool and software, while maintaining HIPAA Privacy and Securitystandards. Reviewer must pass a medical record abstraction test prior tobeginning the project after completing required training. Reviewer will needto maintain competency demonstrated in test throughout the project.Education and Experience1. Associates degree in Nursing (ADN) required.2. One year of RN patient facing required.3. Two years of medical record review experience preferred.4. Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities1. Knowledge required.2. Ability to work independently in a fast paced environment and assist teamin meeting project deadlines.3. Must be have strong critical thinking skills, combined with keenattention to detail.Computers and Technology1.
