The Revenue Accountant (“RA”) owns all local revenue accounting functions and has responsibility for the accuracy of daily cash reports and bank reconciliations. The RA is an important partner to the overall Pursuit Finance & Accounting team and the local operational teams they are supporting as the first line of defense against accounting inconsistencies and irregularities. Partnership with the local Financial Analyst and the shared services Accounting team is critical in efforts to ensure diligence in processes, review and controls where appropriate and being able to adapt and correct course, as needed.
In addition, the RA plays a key role working with Finance and IT to develop new financial and operational reporting tools and leveraging new systems and platforms as they are deployed within the organization. This includes data validation, process improvements, problem-solving and any other troubleshooting as needed.
The RA is responsible to drive continuous improvement across people, processes and technologies relating to revenue accounting operations.
