Johns Manville Product Manager in Denver, Colorado

The position provides leadership in product & market management for theglobal filtration and separation business. It is a key leadership positionwith focus on profitable growth, development product and market strategiesas well as executing the assigned AOP and STRAP goals. The position holder isresponsible for detecting relevant market trends. He/she monitorscompetitive activities in order to develop new products and adapt businessstrategies. Based on market assessment he needs to identify investmentsand/or recommend acquisitions. He/she identifies customer needs,initiates product developments and conducts the implementation/qualificationof new products.Your Day-to-Day:Develop and provide input for strategic plan and AOP in F&S segment.Leader and steward for CAPEX projects in F&S segment, and championbusiness needs for investment.Gathering and communicating product and market intelligence and macrotrends, and translating into action, where appropriate.Executing competitor analyses (strategy, capacity, investments, marketand product focus)Define the product vision for the various filtration product lines by usingtechnology and market trends as well as analyzing competitors' strategies.Drive joint developments with customers, enact confidentiality agreementsand identify new potential business opportunities.Define CTQ criteria for new product developments.Attainment of new product sales targets in conjunction with Technology team.Identifying and supporting acquisition efforts to grow/diversify F&S business.Represent F&S business through attendance/participation and branding atrelevant industry association & customer trade shows and events.Establish and maintain own relations to key industrial interest groups andcontribute to standardization working groups.Deliver the JM Experience to our customers through engagement with CommercialTeam.What You Bring to the Team:Technical degree (Engineering or Science) or MBAAt least (5) years in technical/commercial rolePreferred at least (4) years leadership experience (project managementand/or manager of team)Management skillsGerman language (a plus, not a must)Analytical skillsStrong strategic thinkingChange management leadershipEmployee leadership experienceTeam playerSelf-driven & self-motivatedIntercultural flexibilityStrong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skillsStrong presentation skillsProficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, OutlookAbility to manage multiple priorities and projectsThorough technical knowledge to understand product attributes, manufacturingprocesses, product technology, etc.Demonstrated leadership skillsStrong project management skillsMedium travel required (30-50%)Work environment is typical of an office setting.Applicants can expect to make between $98,000 to $134,000 upon hire.Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills,and education among other factors.
