About the RoleSummary:The Quality Assurance Manager (Operations Manager) is responsible forproviding leadership and daily support/oversight in the Deposit ServicesQuality Control areas to ensure procedure, policies, processes and systeminput have been completed correctly and timely.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Oversees and assists with the review of input created from the setup,processing, review, maintenance, and/or research in areas related,but not limited toDeposit account maintenanceNew DDA, SAV, and CD accountsChange of Address and Phone number maintenanceAccount status changesNew CIF SetupsDebit Card applicationsDebit Card limit increases (both permanent and temporary)Closed CD accountsSuperseded DDA, SAV and CD accountsPOA, Executor, Personal Rep, Guardian, Conservatorship DocumentsAccount relinquishmentsNight Drop AgreementsDebit Card opt in/opt outAFT/Sweep transfer formsBeneficial Ownership formsCertificate of TrustVerifies that all required documents are scanned and reviewed in Synergytimely.Identifies all line items with exceptions and send to the Branch OperationsManagers on a weekly basis and notate all items which have been unresolved.Performs quality control for all retail and business branch documentation toensure compliance with policy, division and GBCI standards.Provides monthly reports to VP Operations on QC findings, product trends,issues and updates of those items within scope of position.Verifies the correctness of information entered within the JHA Xperience andSynergy systems.Provides accurate and timely technical assistance, leadership andsupervision for assigned staff.Reviews all GBCI policy and procedures updates on bank intranet as frequentlyas necessary in order to ensure work is being completed correctly.Promote employee growth and development through regularly scheduled feedbacksessions and timely completion of performance reviewsManage direct reports including hiring, directing job assignments,monitoring staff performance, coaching, counseling, training, assuringcompliance with regulatory requirements and organizational mission,values, policies and work rules. Appraise performance and providerecommendations for staff compensation, promotion, and termination, asappropriDevelops and implements procedures and provides day-to-day supervision ofstaff in order to accomplish departmental objectives and goals in the bankstrategic plan and assigned projects.Provides guidance and direction when needed/necessary; effectivelyaddresses performance and other work-related issues with staff, and ensuresall staff understand and comply with bank and department policies andprocedureProvides training to new and current staff they manage to ensure the mostefficient and courteous service possible. Ensures staff has thoroughunderstanding of all phases of their job including complete training andknowledge of job functions, products, policies, and procedures.Performs regular performance reviews and communicates results to staff,together with action items/goals and improvement plans as needed. Ensuresstaff performance is maintained at acceptable level.Performs job functions in compliance with all company policies andfederal/state rules and regulations as applicable to the position,including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC and GLBA/privacy rules.Other duties as assignedAbout YouQUALIFICATIONS:High school education or equivalent requiredMinimum of 2 years of supervisory experience requiredMinimum of five years of bank deposit operations or retail operationsexperience specifically in new accounts and must understand businessstructuresKNOWLEDGE, SKILL, ABILITY:Thorough knowledge of bank deposit account documentation and complianceProficient knowledge of Microsoft Office, Word and ExcelPractical Knowledge of Jack Henry SilverlakeAbility to apply logical or critical thinking to define problems, collectdata, establish facts, and draw conclusionsAbility to interpret a variety of technical instructions and can deal withmultip
