Amazon Corporate LLC Commercial Sales Strategy Leader, AWS in Denver, Colorado

As the Leader for AWS Commercial Sales Strategy, you will manage a team thatsupports the formulation and implementation of the sales model for WWCommercial Sales to meet our growth objectives. This includes customersegmentation criteria, supporting account coverage design, investmentcriteria to support business growth and cross-sales organization growthstrategies and programs.* Work cross-functionally to drive overall sales organization readinessincluding territory planning, investment guidance and headcount allocation.* Help build and drive strategic change plans across the sales organization.* Drive the operating model to support growth strategies.* Assist in defining, landing and executing on strategic initiatives for theCommercial Sales Organization* Collaborate with internal end-users and cross-functional teams to incubatenew programs and land new initiatives with the field sales teams.The ideal candidate earns trust through performance and relationshipbuilding, thinks strategically and analytically about business challenges,has experience in program management and has a deep analytic background toassist the AWS WW Commercial Sales organization in meeting its businessobjectives. The candidate will be a self-starter with a bias towardsindependent problem solving, a passion for identifying and eliminatingbottlenecks, and has the foresight to anticipate business needs, maketrade-offs, and balance business dynamics despite constraints.The right candidate has a strong record of delivering results timely andeffectively. You should have experience designing and deploying complex globalsales structure/model and managing complex global programs for salesengagement in large, multi-national, preferably tech organizations. Theideal candidate has broad technical skills, strong financial acumen, salesstrategy experience, and a deep analytical background. Strong judgement,ability to manage through ambiguity and complexity as well as a demonstratedability to influence without explicit authority are key to success.This position will work with the multiple stakeholders within and supportingthe extended AWS Commercial Sales organization, such as Service teams,Business Development and Specialized Sales, Sales Leadership,Operations, Marketing, Professional Services, Training & Certificationand the Partner team.
