As a Benefit Technology Implementation Analyst , you will be an integral part of the team, ensuring the administration platform is built and maintained to ensure optimal client satisfaction and ease of use.
Responsibilities
Building client sites (including: benefit plan rules, details, prices, text and documents)
Establishing integration feeds (EDI, Third-Party App, and API)
Effectively communicate project deliverables and deadlines to internal and client liaisons.
Testing client sites to ensure proper functionality and quality
Conducting regression testing to discover software enhancements or needs
Importing data into our system as needed
Triage client tickets and/or questions (email and voicemail) and provide next response time
Auditing system data from various sources; produce reports providing summary and details surrounding the audits
Prepare employee and employer communication documents
Interpret benefit plan information obtained from account managers and configure clients’ administration sites.
Train clients and internal teams on benefit administration software.
Host and coordinate implementation client calls via email, phone, and in-person visits.
Host client demonstrations of technology solution
Evaluate, troubleshoot, and follow-up on customer issues as well as replicate and document for further escalation, if necessary.
Assist in turnover of existing clients at policy renewal.
Review, troubleshoot, and correct carrier discrepancy errors.
Identify opportunities to improve the software, workflow and implementation processes
Provide timely feedback to management regarding service failures or customer concerns
Assisting with ad hoc client projects as needed and assigned
Resolving data discrepancies between benefit technology system and external vendors: insurance carriers, Third Party Administrators, and payroll/HRIS systems
Qualifications
Prior systems implementation experience preferred, but not required.
Experience supporting a demanding intake pipeline; preferably in a Project Management role,
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent education/experience.
2-4 years of health and welfare benefits and information technology experience.
Highly computer literate, including expert end-user knowledge of Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Word.
Familiarity with file transfer, encryption, and compression software such as FTP, PGP and Zip.
Troubleshooting skills for supporting web-based applications and Web browsers such as Internet Explorer, Google, Chrome and Mozilla Firefox.
Reliable transportation required for travel within the Chicagoland metropolitan area.
Experience with Employee Navigator, Bswift, or Jellyvision's Alex Decision support tool or related platform, preferred.
