ONE-STOP NAVIGATOR- JOB DESCRIPTIONThe One-Stop Navigator provides front line support to our customers in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. To achieve success, the candidate must possess a passion for delivering a world-class experience to our customers and have a proactive approach in every interaction. This person will assist resource center customers and potential participants in obtaining documentation, locating materials, and providing general information regarding WIOA programs. This role will provide basic technical support to users needing assistance with computers and peripherals including troubleshooting problems encountered.Roles and Responsibilities Demonstrate world class customer support and maintain knowledge of job and career services within our job center. Participate, as assigned, in departmental initiatives and projects. Process incoming materials and provide related departmental clerical support. Send welcome emails to new and potential participants for WIOA services. Provide support (phone/in person) to customers trying to access/complete Required Eligibility documents Provide support to customers who are electronically scanning documents to designated email address Answer any related questions to partner and WIOA training programs and initiatives Work with Front Desk and Resource Center staff to ensure routing of participants in a timely and efficient manner Track and document frequently asked questions Facilitate 45 minute to 1-hour orientations that focus on suitability Assist customers who are not Eligible for services with additional resources for funding, partner services available job readiness workshops etc. Lead documentation and follow-up with customers about missing information and track the dates received packet, eligibility determined, secondary review Actively identify areas for process improvement and optimization that will drive department efficiency and create value for our customers Meet or exceed key performance and productivity indicators such as quality, courtesy, expertise, schedule adherence and other metrics as defined by management Complete projects and general administrative functions as assigned Foster and contribute towards a positive and collaborative cultureQualifications Bachelor's degree in related field. Demonstrated knowledge of workforce development and economic development. Demonstrated knowledge of national, community service, employment, training, and local programs and/or specific US Department of Labor programs, and related state and federal laws, policies, rules, and regulations. Strong Workforce Development leadership is a plus. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience with complex workforce systems.
