As a Program Supervisor- Foster Care, you will manage the daily operations of a program and supervise direct service and support team members; coordinate service delivery so that client needs, program goals and contract objectives are effectively met. Overall, the Program Supervisor will contribute to the CHS high performance culture by exhibiting our values and providing quality results that keep CHS as the premier provider of child, family and behavioral health support services.

YOU WILL:

  • Supervise program staff including regular individual and group staff meetings and case consultation; oversee proper client to staff ratio.

  • Approve admission of clients to program; assign cases to program staff and oversee service delivery.

  • Provide support with in-crisis or problem cases; provide on-going assistance to program staff in coordinating services for clients.

  • Review and monitor case files for both internal and external quality assurance standards.

  • Oversee services provided comply with contractual requirements.

  • Liaison to community agencies such as Dept. of Children and Families, Department of Juvenile Justice, etc. and attend closure or conference staffing.

  • Oversee program staff completes all documentation and reports in a professional and timely manner.

  • Assist in grant writing, contract negotiating or re-accreditation preparation.

  • Maintain and generate necessary reports and paperwork in a timely manner.

  • Provide direct case work in the absence of program staff.

  • Provide BHOS services including group counseling, individual counseling, social skills training and documentation.

  • Participate in treatment team meetings.

  • Oversee BHOS services are provided as part of the facility's daily programming.

  • Participate in four hours per month of supervision by a licensed clinician.

  • Maintain appropriate documentation of all BHOS services.

  • Perform supervisory responsibilities specified in COA Standard TS 3:

  • Delegate and oversee work assignments so that service delivery is performed according to the organization's mission, policies and procedures and service philosophy

  • provide case consultation and in-service training, as appropriate

  • identify unmet training needs

  • conduct performance evaluations

  • support and enhance staff's ability to perform their jobs by teaching and modeling technical knowledge and skills, work management and communication skills and conflict management skills

  • Working knowledge of the case management field

  • Strong organizational skills and a tireless focus on quality results

  • Exceptional leadership, interpersonal and communication skills that allow you to work well with diverse teams, clients and families

  • Resiliency, with a propensity to persevere in spite of constant change

  • A sincere passion for helping others in need

YOU NEED:

  • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or a comparable human service field

  • Minimum of three years experience working with children and families, preferably in the type of program that the Program Supervisor will be overseeing

  • Florida Driver’s License within 30 days from hire

  • Required to acheive full Child Welfare Cerification within 1 year from hire. Significant salary increase received with certification..
