Responsible for the day-to-day operational activities, human resources management, patient safety, and performance improvement, as well as all regulatory requirements.
Maintains responsibility for the operation accountability for assigned areas.
Provides clinical support when necessary.
Ensures compliance with all mandated regulations set forth by Joint Commission, DOH, and Infection Control guidelines.
Assists with creating and maintaining standards, operational activities, and performance measurement tools that meet operational and market needs in operational efficiency, quality, access, and patient satisfaction.
Implements plans through team-based empowerment.
Monitors patient satisfaction.
Assures that patient concerns are investigated and fully addressed.
Assists in developing, submitting, and managing budgets.
Reviews manpower needs and requests changes as needed.
Identifies opportunities and plans approach for improved resource utilization.
Assists in maintaining strong relationships with referring physicians.
Manages all nursing support staff.
Works with department Team Leaders or Leads to provide direction, guidance, and follow-up.
Handles all employee relations activities.
Maintains appropriate staffing levels and mix.
Assesses staff and facilitates skill development for all personnel as needed.
Assesses and enhances skills of lead personnel, such as decision making, problem solving, conflict resolution, and effective communication.
Actively participates in resolving employee problems and conflicts, as needed.
Work is typically performed in a clinical environment. Accountable for satisfying all job specific obligations and complying with all organization policies and procedures. Work Schedule: Monday through Friday (8:00am to 4:30pm)
Travel between clinics and hospitals within Central PA will be required (less than 25%)
Prior experience with RN/BSN supervision preferred.

Bachelor's Degree-Nursing (Required)
Minimum of 3 years-Nursing (Required)
Certification(s) and License(s)
Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body; Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
