Aerotek Quality Control Inspector in Danvers, Massachusetts
Candidates in this role will be performing mechanical inspection of the product lineup that Abiomed currently develops. At times the work may require corrective actions which will require the use of a soldering iron but previous experience working with this is not required. There will be a heavy emphasis on measuring tools, performing First Piece, Final Inspection, Incoming Inspection, and First Article Inspection. In this role, documentation will play a heavy part due to the nature of the company’s work. Because of this, candidates will be working closely with the Engineering department in order to notice any trends that may be developed in their products and how to prevent malfunctions from happening.
Analyze materials and ensure no manufacturing errors are detected
Maintain accurate records of inventory and packages to ensure
Utilize measurement tools to conduct First Piece, Incoming Inspection, First Article, and Final Inspection
Be able to work in coordination with the engineering department to analyze and establish trends of defects
High School Diploma or equivalent
1-2 years experience in a manufacturing environment
Computer literacy & English comprehension
