Medical Billing/Collections

We are currently seeking a Billing, Collections and Refunds Specialist for a client located in Danbury, CT. This is a temp-to-hire opportunity paying $18-20/hr. If you qualify and would like to work for a dynamic company, please email me your resume john.northrop@randstadusa.com

Responsibilities:

Knowledge of posting charges and payments

Working hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Skills:

Check benefits on-line or by telephone

Handle incoming calls from patients and insurance companies

Outbound calls when appropriate and assisting the Billing & Collections Manager in related duties

Meet with Physical Therapy department to discuss billing changes/issues and work with them as a team player

Education:

Associate

Experience:

Entry Level

Qualifications:

CPT-4 and ICD-9 coding competency

HIPAA regulations experience

Recent billing, collections and/or physical therapy experience
