responsibilities:
The ideal candidate will have broad dev ops experience with demonstrated experience in establishing dev ops solutions for AWS. The DevOps Engineer will assess existing technologies, design future state, and execute the migration of the build and deploy processes to the DevOps model.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The role requires solid experience in cloud computing environments, hands on technical skills, passion and appetite to master new technologies, and excellent communication skills.
Design and build DevOps processes and procedures
Deploy and maintain our AWS infrastructure, network, and services
Deploy and maintain Kubernetes infrastructure and applications
Maintain critical data flows from source systems to our data stores
Maintain and improve our CI/CD processes
Maintain, develop, and improve our monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
Collaborating well in a focused fast-paced, agile environment
Qualifications and Key Skills:

ability required for this position)
Minimum of 4 years of experience with Linux administration
Minimum of 3 years of DevOps experience
Minimum of 2 years of experience with AWS
Minimum of 2 years of experience with Kubernetes
Experience deploying production enterprise applications to AWS
Working with and maintaining databases (especially Postgres and Mongo)
Extensive hands-on Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery technology experience
AWS Certified Architect and/or Developer; Associate considered, Professional preferred
Prior work with Redis, Elasticsearch, microservices, Kafka and related technologies
Demonstrated fundamental understanding of modern platform technologies and industry standard methodologies
Experience in Logistics and Supply chain preferred but not required
Traditional IT network experience including installing certificates, managing routes, establishing firewalls, etc.
Extensive experience creating and managing VPCs
Experience managing databases via RDS
Experience writing and managing AWS scripts including Chef or Puppet
Nice to have: Jenkins, OpenShift, Auto-scaling groups, Beanstalk, DynamoDB
