About the Role:
Currently we have an opening in our Audit Department for a Senior IT Auditor or IT Auditor . You will serve as auditor-in-charge of low to high complex operations and/or technology audits by providing direction to multiple assisting auditors at various levels. You will be responsible for conducting and documenting assigned information technology audit projects; apply broad knowledge of IT audit principles, practices, and procedures to complete audit assignments. You will participate on District or System projects, workgroups, competency centers, and knowledge forums.
Lead or execute audit engagements, monitor projects and perform liaison activities to ensure adequate audit procedures are employed and work is documented in accordance with the Institute of Internal Auditors’ International Standards for the Professional Practice of Internal Auditing and departmental procedures
With appropriate oversight, may serve as auditor-in-charge for audits with low to high complexity
Works collaboratively with Audit management and staff to execute the annual audit plan
Identifies and implements innovative audit techniques
Serves as audit liaison for low to high-risk areas
Develops thorough operational knowledge of business functions
Assesses effectiveness of operational and IT internal controls
Effectively documents and communicates audit results to Audit department and Bank management
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or other business-related field of study
3 + years of relevant professional experience in IT auditing or closely related field
CPA, CISA, or CIA, or other industry recognized certification preferred for IT Auditor and required for Senior IT Auditor
Ability to leverage automated solutions and data analytic tools
Versed in current legal and regulatory requirements and guidance related to information security and other IT frameworks (SOX, FISMA, NIST, etc.)
Knowledge of Risk Assessment/Risk Management tools and processes
Demonstrates critical thinking skills with experience reviewing and analyzing processes to identify improvement opportunities
Ability to apply both manual and automated tools and techniques
Equivalent education and/or experience may be substituted for any of the above requirements
