American Credit Acceptance Regional Lead- Central in Dallas, Texas

American Credit Acceptance is an auto finance company seeking a Regional Lead within our Central Region. This person is needed to assist each Regional Manager in Outside Sales to manage the territory. The ideal candidate needs to reside within a major city within this market. Their main responsibility will be to drive market growth to hit established volume goals, to coordinate with dealers and ACA Funding/Underwriting on deals, to monitor dealer level performance and to take specific sales action. Other duties include training and evaluating Sales associates, as well as identifying and escalating dealer problems.

  • Visit markets 2-3 times per month.

  • Drive volume to meet regional goals.

  • Meet with existing dealer partners and identify/correct any issues that may prohibit sales

  • Assist market rep in developing specific markets/territories

  • Prospect new dealer

  • Reviews contracts in house and assists in an action plan

  • Reviews returned deals to determine if deal can be saved; identify opportunities for rep development and/or process improvements as well.

  • Assists is gathering knowledge of competitor programs and keep team apprised of changes

  • Act as an escalation point for Dealer Partners.

  • Participate in daily D.O.T. calls twice per week and provide observations to Regional Manager.

  • Spot calls to declining, or non-producing Dealer Partners to check in, and potentially identify issues and opportunities

  • Assist Regional Manager and Outside rep in action plan to drive volume as needed.

  • Act as Outside Sales rep for open markets as needed

  • Establish and maintain contact with Dealer partner regional and/or corporate staff. Represent ACA at regional or corporate dealer group meetings and events as needed.

  • Maintains and presents weekly/monthly reports for RDS activity

  • Assist Regional Manager and Sales Trainer in training new Outside Sales Reps; evaluate and train existing reps


  • 1+ years of experience in sales, preferably in auto financing.

  • Undergraduate College degree preferred.

  • Proven success in a sales position.

  • Minimum of 3 months as an American Credit Acceptance, LLC employee or 1+ years of supervisory or management experience.

  • Professional and persuasive communication and negotiation skills.

  • Be able to maintain composure and multitask in a fast paced environment.

  • Demonstrate an outgoing personality with the ability to build relationships and establish trust among clients.

  • Must possess the ability to utilize Internet browsers and common desktop applications such as email and word processing programs.

  • Excellent organizational and problem solving skills.

  • Must possess strong leadership skills.

  • Ability to think quickly in a changing environment.

Work Environment and Physical Demands

In most cases an in-home office must be maintained. This role routinely uses appropriate and required office and personal communications technology, which will be provided.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with a work schedule of Monday-Friday with some weekend work required.


This position will require regular travel throughout assigned territory. Also must be able to make travel arrangements, be comfortable with air travel, be able to drive, and move around the dealership if needed.
