Berry Appleman & Leiden Marketing Coordinator in Dallas, Texas

Under the supervision of the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator supports the overall efforts of the Marketing department. This role will specifically support client events, gifting, e-mail marketing campaigns, communications, awards tracking, and other miscellaneous department tasks as assigned. A successful Marketing Coordinator is detail oriented, remains agile on a daily basis, can coordinate multiple initiatives at a time, and is a clear communicator. This role requires both a focus on process driven tasks and ability to be creative.

(Under the supervision of Marketing Manager):

  • Review and update communications and presentations to ensure brand guidelines are met

  • Maintains library of collateral, slide decks, headshots, stock photography, and other digital needs.

  • Create and edit content on BAL website to include event details, attorney profiles, and more

  • Create and track event related communications, distribution lists, and email campaigns within Salesforce Pardot

  • Plans, organizes and implements virtual and in-person events to include BAL client events, external conferences, and association trade shows

  • Assist with project coordination of event details, speaker coordination, and communications with external associations

  • Monitor, track, and prepare event registration reports for internal tracking

  • Manage multiple trackers for the department including events calendar, presentation submissions, publication schedule, and awards tracker

  • Coordinate digital and print marketing collateral for internal and external use

  • Use Adobe Creative Suite or web based graphics solutions to create graphic design layouts, edit photos, or update existing templates

Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines

  • Organized and finds ways to make processes more efficient

  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Pardot or other CRM and email marketing system

  • Intermediate skill in MS Excel with the ability to do pivot tables, vLookups, other basic formulas

  • Proficiency in other Microsoft Office Suite products

  • Creative with strong attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate verbally and written in a courteous and concise manner

  • Ability to successfully interact with firm partners and managers


  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or related field

  • 1-3 years of professional experience

Physical requirements:

  • Able to lift 25 lbs or more

  • Able to bend, stoop, kneel and/or stand for long periods of time
