KPMG is currently seeking a Director, Service Operations to join our Digital Nexus technology organization.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic responsibility for KPMG's Incident Management, Problem Management, Vulnerability Management, Availability Management, Operational Monitoring, and Event Management across IT

  • Define and maintain system and service monitoring standards in support of service availability and performance Service Level Agreement (SLAs) and an Operational Level Agreements (OLAs)

  • Establish a proactive team that anticipates and prevents potential outages, striving for continued improvement in service availability, and shorter service restoration times

  • Collaborate with Executive Leadership on the strategic and tactical planning of operations in a large enterprise environment, enforcing best practices design, implementation and operational standards

  • Provide governance for all changes made to minimize impact to the business and ensure compliance with standards and controls for all involved teams

  • Hire, train and organize high performance teams, using standard operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to staff; Provide Metrics / KPI definition, trend analysis with recommendations and ensure team objectives are clearly defined and managed, acting as primary point of escalation for issue resolution

Qualifications:

  • Minimum ten years’ experience in IT network operations, in a large scale organization

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university; Master's degree is preferred

  • Thorough knowledge in maintaining and implementing technology operations, including data center environments, telecom and WAN

  • Extensive experience with servers, storage, networks, Cisco, and Palo Alto V5

  • Outstanding verbal/written communication, collaboration, presentation and negotiation skills to lead an environment driven by customer service and team work; Ability to foster the development of high performance teams

  • Capable of building strong professional relationships with ability to influence all levels across the organization; able to set and execute strategic initiatives for team
