Director - Product Management, Finance Data & Integration

The Director of Product Management, Finance Data & Integration is responsible for guiding the strategic product direction for the Data Management and Data Integration capabilities within the Business Technology Finance Business Partner Group. This individual should be an experienced Data Management and Data Integration professional with an extensive background in leading the delivery of robust and scalable data solutions for Finance. This role maintains responsibility for the vision, roadmap, development, and implementation of Finance Data Solutions. Responsibilities include a strong focus on enabling scale, global delivery excellence, innovation, and end user experience. This person will be responsible for engaging both business and technology stakeholders on a global level.

In this role, you will be leading, designing, developing and deploying technology to enable the global Financial Data Platform of Salesforce. The Director, Product Management - Finance Data & Integration will be expected to understand the ongoing requirements of our Finance business units and will help evolve our overall Data Strategy, Governance and BI/Analytics/Big Data ecosystem to support new tools and design shifts that enable the business to be successful in a high-growth environment. The current product line for delivering these solutions include Alation, Snowflake, Hadoop, Tableau, Informatica & Mulesoft, along with other Salesforce applications. Strong financial acumen and customer focus are critical for this role.

The Director - Product Management, Finance Data & Integration leads a global team and is responsible for strategic and tactical decisions impacting Salesforce’s Business Intelligence and Analytics Solutions. Providing guidance through their career progressions, this people and delivery leadership role is also responsible for effective executive stakeholder engagement. Directing work assignments, portfolio roadmaps, influencing the balance of scope-budget-timelines, strategic planning, and demonstrating agile expertise with functional-technical-operational processes are some of the other key capabilities for this role.

This individual should be someone equally comfortable in the tactical details of the program as well as driving strategic implications and decision-making with the executive leadership team. Ability to influence others and build strong collaborative relationships is extremely important as this space impacts most key functions and processes across the enterprises. The individual should possess strong leadership qualities, including the ability to create and articulate a concise vision and objectives. The candidate needs to have strong people skills in the areas of coaching and developing teams. The individual for this role should be someone with solid business knowledge and technical background so that they are credible with our executive team. The selected candidate will be a hands-on leader, possess expertise in Data Management and Integration for Finance functions. This person should have a strong background that involves diverse on-prem and cloud data applications and integration technologies. The candidate must possess strong client relationship management, promote a collaborative team culture, and ignite passion within the team to build robust flawless applications.

Key to this role is the ability to think strategically, build cross-functional relationships, apply critical thinking skills and take the initiative to drive results. You will partner with stakeholders across Finance business and technology to drive innovation and scale to enable our team to achieve our goals.


  • Accelerate the delivery of the Salesforce Enterprise Data Strategy for Finance

  • Partner with Finance leadership to drive its Multi-year Strategy and Roadmap for data management and data integration

  • Bring industry best practice and external perspectives to educate peers and senior stakeholders on the art of the possible as it relates to Data Management and Integration, Robotic Process Automation, and Artificial Intelligence and influence partners in Finance to implement new technology that bring value in greater efficiency and a better user experience.


  • Build, manage, multiply, coach and develop a team of outstanding individuals providing software development of BI/Analytics/Big Data solutions in support of transformational enterprise projects and Finance capability enhancements.

  • Build strong relationships with key business stakeholders across the Finance business units including data science teams and be their trusted advisor.

  • Provide oversight and leadership for the delivery of projects involving a variety of technologies (Salesforce Platform, Cloud Platforms (AWS, GCP and Snowflake), Hadoop, Tableau, Informatica & Mulesoft) and ensure that the implemented solutions align with and support business strategies and requirements.

  • Collaborate with vendors and industry consultants to continuously learn and identify opportunities to advance our strategy and operating model for supporting our business partners.

  • Look for opportunities to optimize Data Governance, Architecture, and Engineering Processes and Frameworks that are followed for delivering solutions in an effort to increase productivity and reduce time to market.

  • Foster, facilitate, and furnish, timely decision-making across a broad network of stakeholders, delivery partners, and operational teams.

  • Collaborate with security, controls, architecture, engineering, quality, support, experience, program, and infrastructure partners in coordinating the delivery of complex, multi-faceted objectives.

  • Represent and lead diverse delivery functions in program/project core team and executive steering committee meeting and data governance bodies.

  • Accountability for team integrity, product excellence, decision making, delivery estimates and roadmaps, career development, client communications, and project outcomes
