We are currently involved with construction management of new solar farms that are being developed and constructed throughout the USA and are seeking a Director of Solar Construction or a Solar Senior Project Manager to lead our efforts. We are seeking someone that has knowledge of where solar farms are being constructed. The position will supervise all solar construction operations and personnel including solar project managers, financial planners, clients, engineers, partners, installers, and manufacturers and distributors as needed to move projects from installation to completion.

The ideal candidate is an organized and seasoned construction manager with direct experience overseeing construction of solar and energy storage projects. The Project Manager must be an innovative thinker, fast-learner, collaborative worker and self-starter with a passion for the renewable energy industry and track record of success thriving in a high growth environment. We seek a candidate who has experience in the construction of solar farms or large commercial solar projects as a Solar Construction Director, Solar Senior Project Manager or Solar Construction Manager. Candidates should have a stable job history with a general contractor, Construction Manager, EPC or Design-Build firm.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Preferred Undergraduate Degree in engineering, project management, construction management, or equivalent

  • At least 3-5 years professional experience in solar

  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail

  • Proficient understanding of entire solar project lifecycle

  • Energy storage knowledge and experience a major plus

  • Ability to work both independently and as a part of team, knowing when to seek help

  • Flexibility to modify course in real-time in response to fluid facts and circumstances

  • Proactive and solution-focused communication skills which extend across all organizational and management levels

  • Experience administering contracts

  • Expected travel: 30-45%

  • Preferably based in Dallas, but willing to discuss remote location
