JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
Penn State Wilkes-Barre, a member of the Penn State University Athletic Conference, is accepting applications for a Head Coach in the sport of Soccer, within the department of Athletics. This is a part-time position, as such, the Head Coach is responsible for recruiting, practice preparation, player development, and game day coaching .
This position requires strict adherence to PSUAC, USCAA and NCAA Division III rules. Hours are primarily in-season with a requirement for recruiting in the off-season. Must be well versed in the sport of soccer with previous coaching experience preferred.
This job requires the following 3 publicly available clearances:• PA State Police Criminal Background Check• PA Child Abuse History Clearance Form• FBI Criminal Background Check. This position requires that you operate a motor vehicle as part of your job duties. A valid driver’s license and successful completion of a motor vehicle records check will be required in addition to standard background checks.
