More important than existing know-how regarding dedicated Oracle products and services are a broad interest in those topics and a high level of motivation to learn new things day by day following a “Coaching on the job” approach. THE JOB – (CLOUD) SECURITY PRINCIPAL CONSULTANT You will join a team of Solution Architects and Consultants in the German consulting practice, working on security topics around on-prem, on cloud or on hybrid infrastructures (hereinafter subsumed as Oracle Security Stack) Acting in this role you will: * Be part of the Oracle team conducting assessments and workshops with both technical and business users to define and showcase the value provided by Oracle’s Security Stack * Support identifying the current Security maturity level of Customers and defining a Roadmap helping them to take the full benefit of the adoption of Oracle’s Security Stack * Work closely with customers, either from a technical or non-technical standpoint, to deliver a solution that fulfils or exceeds their requirements * Engage with customers to ensure service needs are being met and deliverables perfectly fit Oracle’s high-quality standard * Continuously develop and maintain the knowledge of relevant Oracle products and services within the rapidly evolving Cloud platform * Participate actively in the internal community and proactively contribute to the growth of Consulting Intellectual Property asset library sharing know how, experiences, collaterals related to delivery experiences * Form and maintain strong relationships with Oracle customers as well as withs Oracles employess from different Lines of businesses What You’ll Bring Your enthusiasm, knowledge and customer-centricity will help us become the leading cloud service provider. Technical Skills/Qualifications * Minimum 3 years of proven experience and track record in designing and implementing custom solutions * Familiar with overall IT Technologies and a strong interest in or even first experiences with one or more of the following topics: Identity and Access Management, Data Protection, API Security, Infrastructure Security * A good level of understanding of Oracle’s overall technologies and solutions * Knowledge about Databases and Linux * Good knowledge of Cloud Services delivery model: IaaS, PaaS, SaaS * Basic understanding of common application and infrastructure security vulnerabilities and mitigations * Good Knowledge of programming languages and technologies like: Java, Phyton or PHP * Knowledge of protocols such as OpenIDConnect, SAML, LDAP, REST is a plus Personal Skills/Qualifications * A curious and innovative person with a strong „Can Do“ attitude * Good communication and interpersonal skills * Feel comfortable developing and presenting solutions to IT as well as Business users using the appropriate approach and language * Good level of English Nice to have: Security Clearance What We Offer A driver’s seat in leading your own career. Detailed Description and Job Requirements An experienced consulting professional who has a broad understanding of solutions, industry best practices, multiple business processes or technology designs within a product/technology family. Operates independently to provide quality work products to an engagement. Performs varied and complex duties and tasks that need independent judgment, in order to implement Oracle products and technology to meet customer needs. May lead the solution design and implementation aspects of engagement(s) ensuring high quality, integrated software solutions within constraints of time and budget. May act as the team lead on projects, providing coaching, guidance and feedback to develop skills of team members. Effectively consults with management of customer organizations. Participates in business development activities. Develops and leads detailed solutions for moderately complex projects. 6-8 years of experience relevant to this position including 3-4 years consulting experience preferred. Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience preferred. Product or technical expertise relevant to practice focus. Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to build rapport with team members and clients. Ability to travel as needed.
