BrightStar Care IV/Infusion Nurse in Crawfordsville, Indiana

As an IV Infusion nurse (RN Specialist), you will work outside the walls of a hospital setting in a growing specialized area of the nursing field providing a broad range of therapies in our patients’ homes. If you are spending 12 hours on your feet or rushing from patient to patient with no time to provide quality patient care, this would be the perfect opportunity to change your work environment. Tailor your schedule to meet your patient’s needs and enjoy the autonomy that comes from working within their home. Have the time and a balanced schedule to build strong therapeutic-relationships with your patients and their families. Must have excellent written and verbal customer service skills. This is a full-time position that will include weekends and evenings based upon clients' needs.

What you will do:

As an Infusion nurse (RN Specialist) you will… Make a difference by using your clinical ICU, PACU, NICU, ER experience, along with your personal touch and bedside manners helping our patients recover in the comfort of their own home after they leave the hospital. Provide one-on-one home nursing care visits and patient education per the physician’s plan of treatment. Treatment plans may include IV Infusion, Wound Care, Injection training, and advance care. Training is provided allowing you to be on the cutting edge of new techniques and technologies.

  • Provide a broad range of infusion therapies in our patients’ homes

  • Make a difference by using your clinical IV experience and personal touch to assist our patients to recover in the comfort of their own homes.

  • Provide one-on-one home infusion nursing care visits and patient education per the physician’s plan of treatment.


Job Requirements:

  • Registered Nurse (RN) with current license in the state of employment.
  • Minimum one-year nursing experience with a minimum of one-year infusion/IV, ICU experience
  • Must have and maintain current CPR certification
  • Must possess a valid and current driver’s license and auto insurance


Preferred Qualifications: * Home healthcare experience preferred
