The Analyst, Data Integration, is responsible for architecting, developing, testing, and supporting Database Management Systems from Epic Clarity. This position will work directly with technical and business teams to map the appropriate data sources for MediRevv?s enterprise business intelligence and analytics solutions. This position will serve as a technical resource, collaborating with internal and external resources. They will provide system analysis, design proposals, programming and maintenance for application systems.
An effective Analyst, Data Integration (EPIC), will exemplify the MediRevv Mindset by helping the organization on a whole achieve balance between partners, people, and performance through:
Manage and conduct analysis of existing systems to determine how best to integrate data from Epic via interfaces, file loads, batch processes, and more
Develops, maintains and monitors Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) processes to integrate data from Epic into business intelligence data stores.
Manage and optimize process for data intake, validation, and mining.
Develop, maintain, review and explain data models.
Adherence to all development standards and protocols including Change Management, Code Review, Documentation and Testing.
Ensures proper system monitoring is in place to validate and report the reliability of data loaded to the BI data stores.
Enforce standardization of data across multiple clients & sources for enterprise-level analysis.
Educate and advise internal customers on how to leverage available data for consumption.
Organize and drive successful completion of data insight initiatives through effective management of analysts and effective collaboration with stakeholders.
Translate concepts and directions into practical data solutions.
Integrate strategies and solutions to improve data flow and analysis.
Anticipate future demands of initiatives related to people, technology, budget and business within the department and design/implement solutions to meet these needs.
Review Epic software releases and updates to determine impact and implement changes as needed
Develop and maintain project plans, creating status reports, facilitating decisions, identifying and mitigating risks collecting and interpreting data from various sources, presenting measure and program results, and managing evolving technical requirements
Plans and develops improvements in functionality and efficiency of interfaces
Proposes new solutions for workflows, processes, system designs, or developments as needed.
Job Requirements ? Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
A successful candidate must have proficient knowledge/capabilities in the following areas:
Bachelor?s degree in a relevant field is required
3 years of experience in revenue cycle, system or data delivery required
Demonstrated SQL skills with extensive experience in developing Business Intelligence / Analytics solutions.
Knowledge of designing and planning solutions; debugging, monitoring, and troubleshooting Extract, Transform, and Load (ETL) solutions.
Experience with Epic Clarity data models required, knowledge with Healthcare Revenue Cycle data preferred
Attention to detail and capability to apply discretion and sound judgment in managing complex processes, decisions and handling sensitive information.
Ability to relate well to all kinds of people, up, down, and sideways, inside and outside the organization.
Strong computer skills including experience using Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive
