Inc is currently seeking an HR Generalist to join our team. Mary T. Inc has over 1000 employees located in 4 States, and we serve adults with disabilities as well as Seniors. Please check out our new website: We are seeking a Generalist with at least 3-5 years of experience to assist in the following HR areas: Employee engagement, employee relations, data and analysis, HRIS specialist, policy and procedure, learning, performance management, compliance, and orientation leader. This position requires an extremely perceptive person who is capable of relating to individuals at all levels within the organization. The generalist must be sensitive to corporate needs, employee goodwill and the business needs. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC JOB DUTIES Reviews and makes recommendations to HR management for improvement of the organization's human resources policies, procedures and practices Administers various human resource plans and procedures for all organization personnel; assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; assists in maintaining the employee handbook and the policies and procedures manual. Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars. Assists in evaluation of reports, decisions and results of department in relation to established goals. Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures tocontinually improve efficiency of the department and services performed. Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database. Maintains compliance with federal, state and local employment and benefits laws and regulations. Maintains all employee and applicant documentation as dictated by governing agencies. Partners with employees and management to communicate various human resource policies, procedures, laws, standards and other government regulations. Performs benefits administration, including claims resolution, change reporting, approving invoices for payment and communicating benefits information to employees. Assist in developing and maintains affirmative action program; filing EEO-1 report annually; and maintaining other records, reports and logs to conform to EEO regulations. Assists in handling employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing. Acts as an employee relations specialist. Maintains employee personnel files. BASIC QUALIFICATIONS FOR THIS POSITION EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience CERTIFICATION/ LICENSURE:PHR or SPHR preferred, not required EXPERIENCE: Minimum three (3) to five (5) years of relevant human resources experience KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES: Excellent business acumen Strong communication, organizational, collaborative, and prioritization skills Ability to build and maintain trusting relationships with employees and vendors Advanced ethics and integrity problem solving skills software and IT skills Ability to maintain professionalism in high stress environments.
