National Youth Advocate Program Service Reception Coordinator in Columbus, Ohio

With over 1000 staff in 9 states, we are a group of dedicated life-changers working to “Be a Part of Something Bigger”!RESPONSIBILITIES:The Service Reception Coordinator will perform duties including, but not limited to:Perform all work in a manner consistent with the National Youth Advocate Program’s mission, values, and philosophies.Be responsible for the placement procedures, interagency correspondence and required agency case file information.Advocate on behalf of the youth through individual and system advocacy to promote the provision of service delivery to the youth and their families via the least restrictive service delivery option available.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:A Bachelor’s Degree in a social service or related field.Minimum two years’ experience in youth services, preferring with direct experience in child welfare.A valid social work license is preferred but not required.Proficient use of desktop and laptop computers, smart phones and tablets, printers, fax machines and photocopiers as well as software including word processing, spreadsheet and database programs.OTHER SKILLS:Excellent customer service and communication skills.Possess a sincere commitment and ability to advocate for troubled youth.The person in this position needs to follow a team concept and support both agency goals and co-workers.
