Aerotek ARAMIS Designer / Drafter in Columbus, Ohio

Description:

The Telecommunications Specialist/Designer designs project work prints based on current and past network architectures in ARAMIS-DT / ARAMIS web base software. They would create drawings for the placement of fiber optic cables, poles, conduit, transmission equipment and associated electronics, create bill of materials, and estimate project timelines.  This role is responsible for the timely and accurate completion of moderate to advanced complexity construction drawings for FTTX (fiber to the home, premise, node) telecommunication projects.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Must have ARAMIS-DT / ARAMIS experience and certification.

• Strong technical skills with ARAMIS-DT to design cost-effective engineered aerial or underground work prints for construction.

• Strong technical skills with O-CALC, SPANS, MIC, AOTX, GRANITE
