The Regulatory Manager is responsible for the coordination of continual survey readiness across the hospital. The position encompasses various roles (e.g., coordinator, educator, facilitator) and requires effective interpersonal and management skills to motivate staff to embrace a continual state of accreditation/survey readiness. In addition, the individual will assist with the overall management of the Hospital's Event Reporting System and will provide support to select committees that come under the Regulatory Compliance Program and/or the Hospital's Performance Improvement Program. Duties include working with hospital departments on conducting, assisting, and following up on tracers, assisting with and managing mock surveys and follow up, managing the Joint Commission survey, and assisting with other regulatory surveys as designated by he Director of Risk Management and/or the Senior Director of Quality. Responsible for effectively facilitating tracer and other organization wide performance improvement teams.
40 hours per week
8:00 AM - 4:30 PM
The position will require occasional weekend work to educate on and touch base with the weekend team.
Demonstrated experience in regulatory compliance, performance improvement, patient safety and data management required.
Graduate of an accredited program of nursing or related clinical discipline preferred.
Bachelor's degree in a health care related field and Master's degree preferred with a minimum of 7-10 years of nursing and health care.
