The Boeing Company Senior System Administrator, Versatile Technologist for SC2 Program in Colorado Springs, Colorado
The Boeing Defense Space & Security (BDS), Space Command and Control (SC2) Program is currently seeking a Senior System Administrator- Versatile Technologist (Level 4) to join the Boeing Engineering Capability Team supporting this US Space Force program, located in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
This position requires the individual be able to investigate, analyze and resolve UNIX/Linux and Windows based system problems. The position will require frequent interaction with customers, subcontractors, and teammates in support of program execution.
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:
Administer and manage all aspects of Windows and UNIX/Linux systems in the operations, engineering, analysis, and test environments
Perform system and user account maintenance
Install, configure, and troubleshoot baseline applications and software
Implement, test and assess security/cyber security configuration of Windows and Linux servers in a Risk Management Framework (RMF) environment
Monitor, evaluate, and optimize system performance
Troubleshoot and resolve operating system conflicts
Install, analyze, test and implement security/cyber security patches and hardening
Perform system backup and restoration tasks
Perform troubleshooting and resolve operating system conflicts.
Build and configure systems
Develop disaster recovery procedures
Develop, publish and perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities
Document maintenance actions
This position requires an active Top Secret/SCI U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
3+ years of experience with centralized services to include LDAP, DNS, and back-ups
3+ years of experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF) process for identifying, implementing, assessing, and managing cybersecurity capabilities and services
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
Computing Security Environment Certification in UNIX/Linux or Windows.
Familiarity with various networks, servers and applications
Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 9 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. PhD+4 years' related work experience, Master+7 years' related work experience, 13 years' related work experience, etc.).
