DescriptionPosition DescriptionOBJECTIVE:We have an exciting new opportunity for aInvestigations and Loss PreventionCoordinator to join our Corporate Loss Prevention Team - Southern Division. Inthis role you will help strengthen our Loss Prevention Program and assist indeveloping policies, procedures and systems to safeguard company assets.This includes deploying tactics to prevent retail inventory shrinkage frominternal theft, shoplifting, fraud and administrative errors. Theapplicant to be liaison between any contracted security at retail locationsand the store manager. You will partner with management to oversee internaland external theft monitoring systems, cash handling procedures, Point ofSales Management and E-commerce tracking to minimize or eliminate product andcash losses.A typically working schedule would be Monday through Friday 9:00AM through5:00 PM, working occasional evenings and weekend days as business needsdictate. This position requires driving between affiliate locations on aregular basis, and may require infrequent overnight trips to outlyinglocationsQUALIFICATIONS:* Educational requirement: GED or High School Diploma. Associates degree inrelated field is preferred. May substitute known performance and/or relatedexperience for formal education. Associates Degree in Law Enforcement or arelated field preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of professionalexperience in Retail Loss Prevention or equivalent combination of educationand experience* Professional experience: Minimum of 2 years job experience in the field ofLoss Prevention and/or Asset Protection. Wicklander-Zulawski certification aplus.* Technical skills required: Must be able to clearly communicate with staffand site managers and be able to write in an organized and concise manner.Strong interpersonal and written communication skills, as well as strongproblem solving and analysis skills required. Demonstrated skills in problemsolving, oral communication, team work, judgement and professionalism.Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Word, and Power Point.Experience performing employee or customer investigations required.* Other: Must be available during evening and weekend hours when needed.Must have a valid Colorado driver's license* THIS IS NOT A SECURITY GUARD POSITION *KEY RESPONSIBILITY AREAS:* Conduct internal and external investigations as assigned* Conduct audits and investigations of employee activity* Conduct regularly scheduled random and pinpoint surveillances at assignedfacilities which may occur during a location's open and closed hours* Conduct random bag checks on store and warehouse employees as per policy* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local managementand field support staff at all Goodwill South facilities* Develop and maintain effective working relationships with local PoliceDepartments, and where applicable, regularly attend and participate inColorado Retail Crime Alliance meetings* Frequently review all facility CCTV systems for any fraudulent activities byemployees and customers, to include recordings for possible legal claims* Manage and assign security alarm codes and door access codes* Protect the organization from foreseeable litigation at all times* Conduct Loss Prevention trainings regularlyto both small and large groups,both in person and via Microsoft Teams* Conduct Loss Prevention audits at all facilities, quarterly* Prepare investigative reports in a timely fashion as well as working withHuman Resources and Department management of the area investigated for anypersonnel corrective action* Coordinates risk mitigation efforts with other areas of the business such asRetail, Operations, Contracts, Workforce Development and CommunityPrograms and IT.* Act as liaison between the organization and vendor(s) responsible forsite access, alarm monitoring and security cameras.* Create/develop employee awareness related to internal and externaltheft, operational deficiencies and physical securit
