Hotel Elegante Bell Stand/Shuttle Driver in Colorado Springs, Colorado

Position Title: Bell Person/Shuttle DriverReport to: Bell CaptainPosition Purpose: To assist guests as they check in or out as needed.Drive guests to pre-determined destinations as assigned.Essential Functions:? Show guests to their rooms and assist them with their luggage.? To answer questions about the hotel, explain the hotelfacilities and their location and hours of operation.? Check guests luggage day and overnight.? Stand alert to respond when summoned.? Greet guests in a friendly manner while opening the doors.? Deliver messages and valet to guests.? Maintain open communication through all shifts.? Perform pickups and drop off's for the guests at theairport in a friendly manner.? Perform vehicle inspections.? Keep lobby door and windows when not busy.? Assist the front desk with key inventory.? Sometimes perform valet duties.? Pick up clothes from the cleaners for guests.? Drive hotel shuttles to and from airport, and otherdestinations as assigned.Supportive Functions:? Assist at the front desk, PBX or other areas as needed? Assist with guest service in other areas of the hotel as requested.Job Minimum Requirements:? Able to lift/push/pull/carry up to 50 lbs? Able to walk or stand for long periods of time? Excellent customer service skills? Excellent driving recordKnowledge and Skills:? Must have customer service experience.? High school education or equivalent.? Must have the ability to communicate with guests, abilityto drive vans, limousines and automobiles.? Must speak, read, write fluent English? Must have an excellent driving record verified by the MotorVehicle Report.Physical Requirements:? SITTING: Occasionally? STANDING/WALKING: Constantly? CROUCHING/BENDING/STOOPING: Frequently - must beable to bend to lift luggage, packages, coolers and boxes.? TWISTING: Frequently? CLIMBING: Occasionally - stairs? BALANCING: Occasionally? PUSHING/PULLING: Frequently - must be able to push orpull a minimum of 120 lbs of different size of luggage, packages, coolersand b? TALKING: Constantly? HEARING: Constantly? NEAR/FAR VISION: Constantly? SMELL: Occasionally? TRAVEL: Occasionally - must be able to drive a minimumof 150 miles per day at different intervals as needed.? OTHER PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Occasionally - operate avan/truck, copier, CRT and PBX equipmentNotice: The hospitality business functions seven days a week, twenty-fourhours a day. In addition, this is a hospitality business and a customerservice atmosphere must be maintained at all times.Upon employment, all employees are required to fully comply withCompany/Hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation ofhotel facilities.
