Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities as Digital Advisor (f/m/d)

As Digital Advisor, you will be responsible for driving digitalization projects with our top Enterprise customers in Germany. The definition of a digital strategy for your customer will be as much part of your daily job as the successful implementation. You will develop trusted relationships with your customers’ business leaders, help them to think about their customers in the context of digital possibilities and support them to create long-term added value.

The broad scope of responsibility of this role requires a solid understanding of both business and technology strategy, a principled approach to digital transformational challenges and opportunities including strong leadership and people skills.

Qualifications

What does a Digital Advisor do?

  • Closely cooperate on eye-level with our customers’ executives (CxO level) in both business and IT departments

  • Support our customers to realize their strategic goals thus ensuring/safeguarding real business value and customer’s success by leveraging Microsoft technologies,

  • Guide our customers as they re-imagine and embark on their end-to-end digital transformation journey – from the ideation of new products, business scenarios and processes based on Microsoft technologies until their successful, high-quality implementation

  • Assess IT and technology investment needs and systematically support your customers in deploying the defined key technologies

  • Play an essential role in creating, managing and developing a digital transformation unit that includes the Microsoft and customer team to help make it happen.

What are your key assets?

  • Professional experience in a strategy consultancy or similar experience within the technology sector

  • Strategic and technical understanding of current and emerging technologies at least in two of the following fields: Cloud/SaaS, Artificial Intelligence, IoT and/or Digital Workplace and the ability to deep dive into these topics to clarify and explain

  • Executive presence and ability to drive CxO level discussions, combined with strong presentation and communication skills

  • Passion for your customers! And for technology, business needs and market trends

  • Track record of turning key relationships into measurable business outcome

  • Proven record of delivering business value by leveraging technology to customers digital transformation

  • Experience with large scale business programs combined with change management experience (people, processes, technologies)

  • Market and industry know-how, including knowledge of the operational processes of market players, competitors and technologies is a benefit

  • Strong ability to lead virtual teams – both at Microsoft and in our customer’s organization

  • High degree of flexibility and readiness to travel

  • Fluent verbal and written German and English language skills
