Goddard School Lead Teacher in Collierville, Tennessee

We are under new ownership and are looking to grow our team! We are seeking a Lead Teacher for our Toddler program (2 year old) and our Preschool program (3 & 4 years old) who is passionate about providing loving and nurturing care and creating a fun learning environment for our students. Our program focuses on child-centered, academic, creative, and social development to provide children with an overall, well rounded experience. Our goal is to help children develop the skills they need for long-term success in school and in life. Lead Teacher Responsibilities: · Establish and maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing learning environment. · Advance children’s physical and intellectual competence through creative lesson planning. · Support each child’s social and emotional development and provide positive guidance. · Establish positive and effective family relationships. · Ensure an effective program that is responsive to children’s needs. · Maintain a professional commitment. Qualifications: · Bachelor’s degree or higher in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development is preferred or Bachelor’s degree in a related field · Associate’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Elementary Education, or Child Development and experience in an early childhood education center · A current CDA or Early Childhood Teaching Credential · Strong computer and technology skills. Previous experience with digital lesson planning tools and software is a plus. · Excellent communication skills. · Desire to be a part of a successful team working together!
