This position is Sensing Guidance and Navigation (SGN) Center of Excellence (COE) of Honeywell Aerospace. The SGNCOE develops products that support navigation systems for missiles, munitions, military aircraft, surface vehicles, space vehicles, air transport, regional, business aviation, and general aviation. These market areas require a wide variety of navigation systems including inertial measurement units, inertial navigation systems, and aided inertial navigation systems (e.g. GPS). Essential responsibilities of this role include:
Organize and run sprint ceremonies for assigned teams, e.g., planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives
Collaborate closely and often with internal developers & external partners
Assist with backlog creation, refinement, and prioritization
Optimize the flow of work for assigned teams
Provide support to ensure on schedule and accurate time tracking for epics and sprints
Proactively anticipate and remove impediments to keep teams highly productive
Manage risks, issues, and dependencies for the platform
Identify and manage dependencies internal and external to a team
Create and utilize key metrics to measure, improve, and report performance to stakeholders
Provide Agility direction, advice on practices within needed standards and circumstance optionality
Cultivate and sustain effective partnerships between cross-functional team
Foster a culture of continuous improvement to enhance effectiveness and good practice sharing
Ability for occasional travel
YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum 3 years of Project Management experience using Agile & Scrum methodologies
Must have or be eligible for a security clearance due to contractual requirements
WE VALUE
Lean; Scrum - certified SM is a plus; & SAFe - certified as a SAFe Program Consultant (SPC) is a plus
Proven ability as a leader able to work with multiple, diverse roles and personalities
Self-motivated driver to solve problems and able to make progress despite obstacles strong time management skills and sense of timeliness to meet commitments
Ability to understand technical issues at a high level
Exceptional facilitation skills to gain and maintain alignment, transparency of process, results, and trust
Excellent presentation and communication skills, both oral and written
Proficient with JIRA and Microsoft Office products
Ability to communicate and transfer knowledge clearly and effectively in both technical and non-technical manners
