Part-Time Nurse Practitioner

Accessible Recovery Services seeks a P/T Nurse Practitioner with a Data waiver of 30-100 slots to join our office-based Buprenorphine/Suboxone clinic in Clarion, PA. The ideal candidate would have the knowledge and skills to provide prevention, screening, intervention and treatment related to substance use disorders.This opportunity provides excellent pay for minimal time investment. Schedule will be 3-4 days a week, 5 hours per day.

Responsibilities and Duties:

The Nurse Practitioner's performance will be rated satisfactory when the employee accomplishes these functions thoroughly and consistently:

• Complete and maintain accurate records and reports regarding the clients histories and progress, services provided and certification requirements.

• Demonstrates a high level of clinical expertise.

• Under the Medical Director supervision prescribe appropriate medications and treatments as indicated by patient assessment.

• Maintains appropriate patient records and clinical service documents.

• Hold a basic understanding of drug/alcohol abuse and addiction. Keep updated on current drug abuse and treatment information

• Assisting in the development and implementation of a treatment plan

• Monitors clients continuously and maintains a safe, protective environment for the clients

• Maintains a clean and orderly environment in all client, staff and facility areas

Requirements

• Master's Degree in nursing required

• Certified Buprenorphine Prescriber (Suboxone)

• Licenesure as family nurse practitioner in good standing with the State of PA

• Understanding of Substance Abuse treatment;

• must be at least 21 years of age;

• must be able to pass e-verify and background check;

• must possess current CPR and First Aid certification

• Working knowledge of EMR system preferred

• Oversee and provide appropriate detox services, medical consultation
