SENIOR SOURCE QUALITY ENGINEER
This role, under general direction and in accordance with all applicable international, federal, state and local laws / regulations / requirements and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines will join the Juarez SQ Team and:
Will partner with incoming inspection group (technician, team lead supervisor, etc.) on the decision-making process and follow up of material non-nonconformance with suppliers
Will help on product disposition activities related to supplire non-conformances
Participate or lead investigation process and risk analysis of supplier non-conformances caused
Responsible for generating corrective and preventive actions to suppliers, and verification of the efficiency of such actions for approval and closure
Support suppliers on the implementation of quality improvement plans (example SPC, Gage R&R, etc.).
Collaborate and support the introduction of new products in relation to new components or finished devices provided by vendors.
Supports the qualification, validation and certification of supplier's inspections methods and equipment.
Accountable for the generation or updates to Supplier Quality Agreements.
Lead or Partner with other functional groups to complete Supplier Change Requests initiated by suppliers.
Collaborate on the review, build and approve changes to company procedures, work instructions, forms, inspection reports and other related controlled documentation.
Collect and analyze data associated with Supplier Performance quality metrics.
Experience and education:
Bachelor’s degree in an engineering field is required.
Professional experience of 4+ years in a related Medical Device are required.
Experience working with suppliers is a plus.
Quality Assurance/Control experience is required.
