GENERAL COORDINATOR II

JOB SUMMARY:

Responsible for participating in the planning, organization and implementation of internal and external employee and business-related events and activity functions. (Social, cultural, sports, recognition, community, employee transportation, etc.)

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Under limited supervision and in accordance with all applicable federal, state and local law s/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:

  • Develops complex event plans based on customers’ requirements (social, cultural, sports, recognition, community etc.)

  • Prepares and maintains project plans w ith timelines and accountability assignments

  • Keeps relevant parties apprised of updates. Establishes themes, locations and other important aspects of event based on research results.

  • Selects and schedules speakers and entertainment as appropriate.

  • Examines event locations to ensure all materials and equipment w ere received and set up properly, collects, verifies and processes event invoices.

  • Provides relevant information to appropriate representative for budget tracking purposes.

  • Develops communications materials and establishes communications plan.

  • Follow s compliance on all company safety policies and procedures

  • Follow J&J and EES Records Management Policies for Convenience Information, Records Retention Schedules, Training and Education, Document Hold Notices, Records Cleanout, Inactive Records and Information Management, Vital Records and third party vendor if applicable.

  • Responsible to oversee Employee Bus Transportation and Employee Community committee

  • Responsible to generate, update and control Job Descriptions

  • Comply w ith the Quality procedures, Law s and Regulations of the applicable markets

  • Complies w ith the regulations of the Company w hether local, state and federal as w ell as the procedures and health and safety policies, health and environment.

  • Other responsibilities may be assigned and not all responsibilities listed may be assigned

  • Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level

  • For those w ho supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable

  • Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance w ith all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

  • Performs other duties assigned as needed

Calificaciones

EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:

  • High school diploma and/or Technical Education

  • 2-4 years of experience or equivalent know ledge and skills, necessary to satisfactory perform the position responsibilities.

  • Or 25% - 50% completion at University, College or Technical Institution completed (Preferred.)

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES, CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES and AFFILIATIONS:

  • Bilingual: English/ Spanish preferred

  • GMP/ ISO know ledge preferred

  • Ability to maintain good interpersonal relations at all levels of the organization

  • Analysis capacity

  • Teamw ork skills

  • Disciplined person w ith a high sense of order

  • Highly confidentiality and discretional sense

  • Ability in using the softw are related to the activities described, spreadsheets, presentation and w ord processing
