Title: Formulation Scientist II
Location: Cincinnati, OH

What Will You Do?
Formulation, scale up and troubleshoot of Solid and liquid oral dosage forms, liquid fill experience is a plus.
Expertise on PAT tools, DoE and QBD (Quality by Design)
Contribute to the successful execution of project activities by working within project scope, participate in or lead the design/evaluation of formulations & manufacturing processes for solid, and liquid oral dosage forms.
Write protocols and manufacturing documents for experimental, clinical, scale-upand validation batches.
Interpret and present analytical results to management, cross-functional teams and external clients in report and power points in formal and informal settings.
Participate in or lead inter-departmental coordination of documentation, equipment, materials, and scheduling meetings
Maintain a high level of customer service for clients providing regular updates and ensuring all action items are being addressed in a timely fashion.
Participate in training, qualification of equipment, and writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
Maintain GMP and EH&S training / certification as required.
Demonstrable understanding of pharmaceutical formulation science, particularly complex dosage forms for solid and liquid oral products
Basic Good Manufacturing Practices and relevant regulatory agency knowledge
Ability to work independently or in a team environment and drive projects towards successful outcome in a timely fashion.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, coupled with strong presentation skills
Ability to work in a team set up including helping other team members as required
Ability to multitask and decide priorities on day to day basis to finish allotted work in stipulated time frame
Ability to flex schedule dependent on manufacturing operations and customer needs. This may includemandatory periodic evening and/or weekend work schedules.
How Will You Get There?
Minimum of Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Science or Pharmaceutics. PhD preferred.
Minimum of two years of pharmaceutical formulation/technology experience in developing solid and liquid oral products
