The company's dedication to the green fleet includes aerodynamic trucks, compressed and liquefied natural gas trucks, and medium duty diesel-electric hybrids.Requisition Summarythe reliability technician will utilize reliability methodologies, technologies, and tools for data collection and analysis, to include condition-based monitoring, equipment criticality, equipment failure, equipment data, and root cause analysis.Job Functions / Responsibilities- Develop maintenance best practices and implement new or modify existing predictive, preventive, and routing repair maintenance programs and procedures.- Develop equipment monitoring tools and information systems/reports to provide real time equipment health and performance data and measures.- Support the evaluation of alternate technologies or alternate equipment systems.- Coordinate and or lead equipment failure analyses and develop cost effective solutions to reduce or eliminate future failures.- Work closely with the site teams to seek approval for and implement solutions.- Mentor operations and maintenance technicians in these best practices.- Work with original equipment manufacturer and other contract resources to develop and implement onsite and offsite maintenance support capabilities.- Coordinate the transfer of equipmet learnings.- Participate in the design development and implementation of new projects.- Support the site teams in understanding the process, equipment, and operational gaps, as well as recommending solutions to close those gaps to uptime performance.- Other duties as assigned.QualificationsREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:- Associates degree or higher in technical field- Three or more years of maintenance work experience in a manufacturing, industrial, or military environment- Two or more years of supervisory experience in a heavy manufacturing environment- Working knowledge and experience with MS Word and Excel using SAP- Experience in the following: automotive assembly, asset strategy development, formal root cause analysis, failure modes and effect analysis, data analysis, metrics reporting, pareto analysis, trending production losses, leading improvement efforts in reliability, predictive and preventitive maintenance, planning and scheduling maintenance activities, CMMS experience.
