The Sports Day Camp Unit Leader serves as a professional role model for our campers and counselors by leading through example and guiding campers and counselors. At YMCA day camps, we create an exciting, safe environment for kids to have an unforgettable summer of fun. And while they’re taking part in unique experiences and adventures, you are developing leadership skills and confidence while making lasting friendships and memories. We are looking for Sports Day Camp Unit Leaders to serve as professional role models by oversee and monitor recreational activities in their assigned cohort, guiding campers and counselors, and leading through example.

You are committed and passionate about working with diverse youth
You enjoy being outdoors, are creative and not afraid to work and play hard
Must have 1 year or more of prior experience working with youth; Experience in a camp setting preferred.
You will be 18 years of age or older by the start of camp.
