Role Overview

n n

Service Line Sales Manager provides deep expertise in a Service Line Practice Area to support the Client Leadership Team to close new and expansion opportunities on accounts. They are actively involved in growing the service line?s footprint and assisting the Service Line Sales Leaders and the Client Partners to engage clients with service line opportunities. In this role, the Service Line Sales Manager will carry Revenue, TCV and Margin targets with responsibilities for business development and sales responsibilities including identifying, qualifying and closing new business opportunities that align with their specialism. The Service Line Sales Manager will also be required to manage and mentor a team of Service Line Specialists.

Key Responsibilities

+ Market Leadership: Creates sales strategies and plan for the Service Line Sales Leader and Client Partners? review and for its incorporation into the broader client strategy and plan. n n


+ Provides subject matter expertise to proposal development and overall solution.

n


n

+ Relationship Management: Executes and manages the account plan within function/specialism under the guidance of the Service Line Sales Leader and Client Partners. n


+ Invests time in strengthening existing client relationships. Participates in reviews and provides educated and relevant perspectives.

+ Client Relationship Management; engage with CXO, VP and Director level clients

+ Business Development: Responds to and deliver on client requests; responds to RFP?s. n


+ Identifies opportunities, makes proactive proposals to client in line with account strategy.

n

+ Obtains the approvals to pursue opportunities.

n

+ Leads pursuits to close new and expansion opportunities related to their sales specialisms, working closely with Client Leadership Team.

n

+ Secures revenue renewals related to their sales specialisms.

n

+ Engage the relevant internal Cognizant teams and service lines team for developing solutions.

n

+ End to end account management including account forecasting, budgeting, operations and overall P&L

n


n

+ Drive sales across existing and new clients with expertise in the latest trends including cloud, digital, modernization, automation etc.

n

+ Experience in Agile/scrum/Devops based Software development

n

+ Ability to translate client requirements into opportunities building / selling Application development and management solutions. ?

n

+ Must have experience in transforming clients from Waterfall to Agile and Devops/DevSecOps based model.

n

+ Industry/Domain expertise and knowledge in the specific Industry as needed.

n

+ Create and present account QBR presentations and executive status reports
