Wolters Kluwer Senior Pricing Analyst in Chicago, Illinois
The Senior Pricing Analyst will provide data and market driven analytics to help the CE Business Unit achieve its pricing and business objectives. The role will partner with senior pricing and product staff members to identify areas of price opportunity, provide data and market driven analytics to inform price decisions, and help develop pricing improvement recommendations. The position will also lead initiatives to build analytical and reporting tools to foster data driven decision making and tracking of pricing key performance indicators.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Support projects to develop pricing and packaging strategy for new and existing products partnering with Product Management, Product Marketing, and Segment General Managers.
Create financial models to analyze and forecast the impact to product and portfolio profitability of proposed pricing actions.
Develop and support complex models, analysis, and reporting related to pricing, profitability and cash flow projections.
Help drive the design and development of pricing analytical and reporting tools using PowerBI (or equivalent) including defining data structure, identifying data sources, and establishing data preparation and transformation requirements.
Assist in the development and release of new and updated pricing and associated guidance/delegation to the Sales team and Contracts team
Respond to pricing exception requests with thoughtful and timely recommendations which demonstrate sound business judgement.
Help define and launch new pricing governance and processes to improve efficiency and effective of pricing and quoting processes.
- BA or BS degree or equivalent relevant experience. Business or technology related major preferred.
3 or more years of professional work experience in analytical roles, 2 years in related finance, data analytics, and/or business analysis.
Experience creating and managing complex data sets and analytical tools.
Experience and familiarity with data management and analytical tools such as Microsoft PowerBI or Tableau.
Strong demonstrated ability to identify, gather, analyze, and interpret data.
Intellectual curiosity and disciplined, business-like approach to solving problems
