Your mission is be a Platform customer champion: to listen closely and respond thoughtfully to their needs, working with our partners in Technology, Marketing & Product (TMP), Customer Success Group (CSG), Sales and beyond to ensure our customers are maximizing their ROI and realizing business value through digital transformation. We leverage our relationships and expertise to scale knowledge and inspire action across Salesforce ecosystem, from internal to customers and partners, driving Platform, Analytics and Intelligence adoption and growth to new and unprecedented heights.
The SCPPE Platform Success Architect is a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the Platform security domain, inclusive of all of the products, programs, and processes that fall under the Salesforce Platform Cloud (Core security, Analytics, Shield, Data Mask, etc... ). This person drives the relationship and alignment to their respective Technology and Product stakeholders and helps to ensure that CSG Field and CSG Go-To-Market professionals have the tools and information they need to be successful in their jobs as it relates to Platform products. The Platform Success Architect is laser-focused on solving for the most relevant Platform security and data protection concerns along side our customers. Additionally, the role requires developing deep understanding of current and future regulations that pertain to data privacy (GDPR, CCPA).
The ideal candidate will have a customer-centric mentality, willing to go the extra mile for the customer and break down barriers to ensure customer success. This is a customer facing role, and at least 60% of your time will be focused on customer engagements.
You will be deeply invested in every aspect of the Platform Cloud customer experience, and ensure that our customers’ voice is represented by serving as the linchpin across the CSG landscape, surfacing feedback and trends to our business partners and advocating directly for solutions that improve the Platform Cloud experience. You also will maximize value for our top and highest-potential Platform Cloud customers, working strategically alongside our Sales, Support, Services, and Success teams to drive clear business outcomes. You will bring architectural guidance, product expertise, innovation, and knowledge capital to our customers - and in return, they provide us with valuable perspective on our product, services offerings, and success strategy. Finally, you will scale Platform Cloud expertise by creating relationships across the ecosphere, making intentional investments in the areas that benefit our customers the most. You will work cross-functionally with our partners in the field to develop and transition our expertise across CSG.
Customer Engagements - Directly engage with Strategic Customers via SCPPE programs (e.g. Evergreen), provide guidance to customers on emerging technologies via product pilots, and provide ad hoc expertise via CSRs
Establish mutually beneficial relationship with Platform product owners and stakeholders
Collaborate with the Technology, Marketing & Product organization, and Customers to execute an early adopter program
Lead Platform Ambassador program to scale expertise across the business
Design Platform based solutions using Salesforce technology for common customer use cases
Partner with TMP and A&G to collaborate and provide subject matter expertise to field delivery stakeholders (advisory, delivery, GTM, etc.) to showcase Platform customer use cases and reference architectures
Provide ad hoc subject matter expertise as warranted via customer needs and business demands including but to limited to practice operations, pre-sales support, field assistance, etc.
Deep understanding of the Platform Security/Data privacy/Data protection domain
Implementation experience with one or more Platform based products
Thorough understanding of the fundamentals of Platform products and how our customers use the platform to manage their business.
Interacts well with both technical and non-technical customers, attains relevant technical and business requirements, analyzes information and designs comprehensive solutions.
Develops visually rich and professional conceptual design documents targeted to varying audiences of business and technical aptitude.
Conducts solutions presentations and obtains customer acceptance to solution design.
Strong aptitude toward communicating complex business and technical concepts using visualization and modeling aids. Ability to conceptualize and design sophisticated wireframes, workflows, and diagrams.
A particular desire to continually study new technologies and functionality, as well as be involved in projects that push the capabilities of existing technologies.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Able to effectively develop materials that are appropriate for the audience and evangelize best practices.
Strong presentation skills. Able to effectively present and defend point of view to a variety of audiences.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter, prioritize, multitask and perform effectively under pressure.
Occasional travel (expected average less than 20%), but may vary based on need and customer locations
